The spaces were in transition. Remnants of the summer’s end of year fine art show were still evident on the walls, along with tools, paint and brooms ready to prepare the space for this year’s cohort of undergraduates. I set a wide aperture and got in close, bending low, re-arranging nothing, making a record of this particular space in time, capturing the pause before the space filled with colour, movement and noise again. My response to the experience of arriving in new surroundings.
