Lead Artist & Producer : 2011-12

A six-month project as part of a national Tate-led initiative. Working with young art students to curate and market a contemporary art exhibition and events programme to engage a new youth audience with Nottingham Castle Museum and Art Gallery. LOVE was the theme, featuring works from the Castle’s collection and on loan from the Tate.

Our Street Love film was made with filmmaker Jes Hill, one element of the exhibition’s interpretation. We also made a love seat, a jukebox of love songs and shared extracts from love letters on the walls. We staged three public events, working with comedians Robin and Partridge to develop our hosting skills to offer an evening of love-themed creativity and entertainment.
