Artist Team : 2019-2021
A project to democratize The National Trust’s mansion at Attingham Park and ‘make the house sing again’. A commission with Pentabus Theatre, Company, The National Trust and Telford Young Carers.
In response to Attingham’s history as a place of parties and hospitality we worked together to plan a contemporary party in the formal dining room, which in 2020 became ‘the party we’ll have when we can all be together again’.
The installation included audio soundtrack of toasts and a party playlist, a spinning glitterball/ pineapple centrepiece, our favourite party food and commemorative plates. The (a)party was shared with audiences in 2021 as part of the Trust New Art programme.
